Sean, as a recent vc facilitator and convert to this method of engaging the learner a whole host of interesting issues come to mind that are worth discussing-some include the vc sites themselves and classroom layouts, vc etiquette (moderating and sharing multiple point collaboration)in-service with vc participants (students and teachers)to name a few. Feedback and discussion. Some of the things gone over in the session: 1) use of "suite of VC" including web conferencing and video conferencing (standards and non-standards based) 2) using "connect" as a vc solution 3) using "vsee" as a vc solution 4) the importance of getting our districts on Orion 5) the ways to minimize training and optimize use of "connect" (e.g. using website) 6) the need for info on setting up vc, can use the info from Vroc and from "VC Cookbook" 7) the need to collaborate with higher-ed 8) the opportunity to use Skype with video and the issues with IT depts
