The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has decided not to renew their contract with composer Dolores Claman to use her song as their Hockey Night in Canada theme. While this music has been used as their theme for almost 40 years, CBC has decided it was too expensive. They to use a new piece of music to introduce their show next season.
