I am once again looking forward to the conference and my session. Many things have changed since the first time I offered a web site creation workshop. Hopefully I am keeping up with the times. If participants have any questions to ask before the session, feel free to ask them. Looking forward to another great conference. |
Quentin D'Souza Oct 25, 07 | Hi Mark, Although I have not attended your session in the past I am particularly interested in a the tools that you are using for the creation process. Are you using online or offline tools? Thanks |
Marc Hurtubise Oct 25, 07 | Unfortunatly registration in my session was low so I will not be presenting. However the plan was to show both online and offline tools. The one thing that I find that ECOO provides me is a chance to think outside the box. By presenting all the different tools and combining them it was hoped that teacher in the end would choose what they feel comfortable with. Part of the presentation would have been showing the good and the bad of all of the tools and then allowing teachers to experiment. The online tools would have centered around Blogger and Wikispaces. A larger portion would have been dealing with Dreamweaver. Although my session has been cancelled I may continue to use this forum to post some of the teaching material I would have used in during my presentation. It would be ashame to let the material go to wast since who knows what new tools will appear by the conference next year. |

Marc Hurtubise Oct 31, 07 | That's great. I have been hearing about it for a little while. Its great to hear that it has finally come through. I will be looking forward to getting a copy. Time to change my lesson again. I truely believe that I would not even be close to the amount of competency I have achieved with computers if I was not a teacher. OSAPAC is such a great resource and we are truely benefiting from all their hard work. |
