Lucas Kent

Lucas Kent is a Grade 6 teacher at Burkevale Protestant Separate School in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada. His background includes teaching in Asia and Australia. Since his career in teaching began in 2000, Lucas has utilized technology whenever and wherever possible to enhance lessons, improve teaching efficiency and more fully engage today’s tech savvy students. He now utilizes technology in over 85% of his classroom teaching. Lucas’ students have been the greatest beneficiaries of the use of technology. They have adapted quickly, embraced the tools fully and helped moved teacher/student interaction to an exciting new level.

His new book 6 Steps to Success in Teaching with Technology is Lucas’ first hand account of his own challenges and accomplishments as he adapted today’s technology to his classroom.
