Jane Smith

I am a grade 5/6 teacher at A. Lorne Cassidy School. For the past 5 years I have maintained a class website (www.56js.ca). I team teach with Nathan Toft (also a grade 5/6 teacher). Fall of 2005 we started class blogs and in the fall of 2006 we introduced a podcast with our two classes called Portable Radio (www.portableradio.ca). Since then we have written a book for Scholastic called "Our Class Podcast". It has been published as part of the Moving Up Literacy series for grade 4 students.
