Anita Brooks Kirkland :: Blog :: Archive from 2007 - Great Conference!

November 11, 2007

I think this was the best ECOO conference I've attended.  Despite its smaller size, I thought the conference was more relevant than ever before.  ALL of the presentations that I attended were stimulating, and moved my thinking forward about many issues in education.  The focus on 21st century learning was woven throughout every session that I attended.

Congratulations to the conference planners and to ECOO for making our time so enjoyable and relevant.

  1. I couldn't agree more! I have also fully enjoyed most of the sessions and appreciated the hard work of the organizing committee under the direction of Naz.

I'm convinced that the participants of this year's event will return to their schools/boards and will spread the word to ensure that the 2008 conference will be attended by many more technology oriented educators.

  2. Ditto. Did any of you have any particular favourite sessions?  Often, what I found just as beneficial as the actual workshop was the discussion with my colleagues tangential to the workshop. I also have to say the ECOO-ELEM AGM to be the shortest and least painful meeting I've ever witnessed! 15 minutes, and that was with elections!
